Collapsing to just 25.4 inches, the Z-17 Carbon packs easily into portable field kits while deploying in seconds to its full 17-foot operating length. Naturally resonant on 20 meters, it pairs seamlessly with REZ loading coils for expanded band coverage. When combined with the XFORM 4:1 matching unit, it becomes a highly effective multi-band vertical supporting 30 through 10 meters in a compact, efficient deployment footprint.
 
Unlike traditional stainless telescoping whips, the Z-17 Carbon is designed to be operated fully extended. Multi-band coverage is achieved using matching units or loading coils rather than adjusting whip length.
 
The Z-17 Carbon integrates directly with REZ Antenna ecosystem and includes a precision adapter for compatibility with standard 3/8-24 antenna mounting systems, making it ideal for POTA activations, portable stations, and emergency communications.
