modular impedance matching for the scout system

coming January 2026

Artboard 1_edited.png

field-ready, operator-defined

Swap. Deploy. Communicate.

The Scout has always been about quick, efficient resonant antennas — quarter-wave verticals and half-wave dipoles you can trust in the field. Now, with our swappable transformer modules, the Scout expands into a true multi-band platform. From harmonic end-fed half-waves to versatile random wires and powerful Rybakov verticals, you can deploy the right antenna for any band, any terrain, any operation — all from a single system.

Specs

The Scout is already a proven multi-band performer with resonant ¼-wave verticals and ½-wave dipoles. Now, with the new swappable transformer modules, you can go even further.

NOTE: 49:1 and 9:1 transformers are currently in development for future release

XFORM 3 Options.jpg

49:1 EFHW

Run one length of wire and work multiple bands with harmonic half-waves.

9:1 Random wire

Deploy a non-resonant length of wire in any space, with a tuner. Great for quick setups, tight spots, or stealth ops.

4:1 Rybakov & loop

Unlock the Rybakov vertical and versatile loop antennas.

Engineered for Maximum Efficiency

At the heart of the XFORM system is a commitment to performance you can trust. Every core is precisely wound for consistent performance. From there, we go further—subjecting each design to careful thermal testing and detailed insertion loss analysis.

What does this mean for you? Less wasted energy, cooler operation under load, and more of your signal making it to the antenna where it belongs. Whether you’re chasing DX, activating a park, or setting up for emergency comms, the XFORM is engineered to deliver maximum efficiency in the real world, not just on paper.

accessories

The XFORM is offered in several different convenient package configurations through our dealers. The XFORM requires the use of the Scout Base.

You may also purchase the XFORM and accessories individually to suit your needs.

multi mount

Multi Mount New.png
The multi mount is a versatile mount and camera tripod adapter that enables the Scout and other 3/8-24 antenna systems to be deployed as a delta loop, V-dipole, or vertical. It can attach to the Universal Mast Mount, the [Z] Pod, ground spike, or a standard camera tripod giving you flexible deployment options.

Delta loop wire kit

Delta Loop Wire Main.png
Pair the delta loop wire kit with the Multi Mount and 2x [Z]-17 telescoping whips to deploy the Scout as a portable delta loop. The delta loop wire kit is built using the ultra-strong and flexible [Z]Kore Kevlar antenna wire and copper whip clips. Included is an HDPE wire winder to keep things neat.

surveyor tripod adapter

The surveyor tripod adapter allows you to mount your vertical antenna system to any standard 5/8-11 threaded surveyor tripod. This creates a steady base for large verticals such as the [Z]-25.

scout base

The Scout XFORM Ready base is a required component of the XFORM system. It acts as the feed point and mechanical support for the base of the antenna. Not only does it work with the XFORM, the Scout also stands alone as 1/4 wave vertical and a dipole.
