DESCRIPTION

The Scout 4017 Loading Coil expands the Scout XF platform to 40 meter operation when used with a 17 ft-class radiator. It installs as a modular Scout component when lower-band operation is required and can be removed when returning to higher-band quarter-wave configurations.

This lets the same Scout XF foundation and radiator system adapt to changing operating requirements without replacing the complete antenna.
