The Scout 4025 Loading Coil expands the Scout XF platform to 40 meter operation when used with a 25 ft-class radiator, creating a longer and more lightly loaded vertical configuration than the 17 ft Scout arrangement.

The coil installs as a modular Scout component when 40 meter operation is required and can be removed when returning to higher-band quarter-wave configurations, allowing the same Scout XF foundation to adapt around the radiator length and operating bands needed in the field.
